Fire and Ice

Get ready to adjust the thermostat for Versa’s shimmery hot and cool combo called Fire and Ice. We are very excited to start 2010 with this exciting duo that will infuse interiors with luxury and light.

Ice glitters with all the richness of a polished silk fabric in 18 crystalline colors from Glacé, Frost and Hail to Brilliant, Spumoni and Black Ice.

Ice’s sensuous texture becomes the background for Fire, which turns up the heat with tiny metallic diamonds that explode in firework-bursts. Fire’s 18 colors glow in white-hot Sparkle, fiery Blaze, hazy Smoke, charred Ember and other sumptuous, sizzling shades.

Together or individually, these patterns deliver the Wow factor in colors that are complementary but not exact matches as Ice is a one-step and Fire is a two-step manufacturing process. The designer will be able to find a correlating Ice color way, in either a lighter, darker or contrast tone, to work with the Fire palette. This is demonstrated in our product photography which features both designs.

Due to the scale of Fire, even with presentation boards, your designers will appreciate seeing Fire in a full yard for presenting the high impact of this exciting pattern. This design is guaranteed to get Oohs and Aahs.

Due to the nature of lenticular embossings, these luminescent wallcoverings capture and refract light differently from various angles, projecting visual interest and subtle movement. To facilitate installation, there is a direction arrow and a match point engraved in the selvage for Fire. Making contractors aware of this ahead of time can assist in installation.

Although not available as Second-Look^®, Fire and Ice both meet low VOC requirements.

Proximity

A reference to nature’s ebb and flow, Proximity blends an under-print and embossing in a soft, undulating design suggestive of striated riverbeds, wind-swept sand dunes, underwater ocean currents and wafting wheat fields. New from Versa™, the wallcovering’s fluid vertical lines provide the illusion of larger land masses and typography all in the proximity of a smaller interior space. Colors bring the outdoors in with 21 selections including Sonoma Grape, Aegean Blue, Santa Fe Desert Brown, Mesa Verde Copper, Seattle Gray and Venice Beach White. Its earthy organic good looks are matched by its green benefits as Proximity uses Second-Look^® technology with 20% recycled content. Proximity is made of 20 oz., low-VOC, Type II vinyl.

Sequence

Curvy continuous circles crisscross the wall in a contemporary tale from Versa™ called Sequence. The textile-like wallcovering uses soft sateen undertones to create the look of fine linen. The sequence of interlocking circles moves from light to dark, capturing a light-hearted visual movement. A fresh palette of 18 colors ranges from understated tone-on-tone to punchy reds, purples, aquas and coppers for accents walls. The low-VOC 20 oz., Type II sustainable wallcovering is standard with 20% recycled content from Second-Look^® technology.

Manhattan Square

Presenting our second proprietary emboss in 2009: Manhattan Square. A mosaic of blocks in varying sizes gives this classic motif a new twist.

This exciting new design’s palette includes a total of 18 colors. First introduced in our Joseph Abboud^® collection, 10 new color ways were added to the original eight. Seen by many as a woven leather, colors have been developed in that vein, ranging from creams and white, grays and rich deep accents.

Perfect for all types of projects, including retail, hospitality and corporate; Manhattan Square is manufactured with Second-Look^® recycled technology, with 20% total recycled content and 10% post-consumer.

Zyp*

High tech, industrial looks are all the rage in fashion, furnishings and everywhere in between. For Versa we present Zyp, sophisticated, yet minimalist in its design and reminiscent of woven wire. Textural in its simplicity with both vertical and horizontal elements, its subtle metallic and pearlized luster enhances 16 colors. Zyp is currently not available in Second-Look^®.

Imerti*

With many designers looking for products on alternative substrates, Versa introduces a new Terren^® tip card, Imerti. Reminiscent of a leaf in the mode of Art Nouveau, delicate shading provides dimension and visual interest to the vertical movement of the design. Imerti is available in 9 tonal colors ranging from a matte finished warm cream and butter yellow to metalized red, pewter and copper.

Whether on a matte or metallic ground, Terren is the perfect substrate for this pattern, creating a hand-print look. Due to the directional nature of the design we are unable to print Imerti on vinyl for custom applications.

Corrugae

Dimensional from every angle, CORRUGAE was inspired by corrugated cardboard and metal. The design provides that same three-dimensional texture, but with even more irregularity, giving it a hand-crafted quality. The deeply embossed design takes on the look of its surroundings, providing a range of attitude from industrial chic to upscale, classic texture. Available in 21 colors, the palette ranges from bright white and soft neutrals to rich mid-tones such as pale aqua, steel silver and antiqued gold to dramatic orange-red and midnight black. Corrugae is standard as Second-Look^® Recycled Wallcovering, making it perfect for eco-conscious projects.

Romanza

Romanza brings to mind the flowing grace of hand-crafted calligraphy. Scrolling twists and turns trellis the wall in a stylized stripe effect. Shadowing around the intertwining line-work gives the pattern an embossed, three-dimensional effect. A pearlescent background creates depth and the perception of movement as the light reflects design elements from different angles. Nine color selections woo the wall with shades of opal, citrine, amber, quartz, peridot, blumarine, white gold, smokey topaz and amethyst. Made with Second-Look^® recycled technology, Romanza is standard with 20% recycled content. You’ll find Romanza at home in hospitality, retail and any environment in need of a little romance.

Waimea

Bring the warmth of a tropical summer breeze into your hospitality and corporate projects with Waimea. Named for the big surf bay on Hawaii’s Kauai Island, Waimea brings seaside savvy to the wall with a touchable grassy texture. This relaxed and casual rendition of woven reeds is balanced with a metallic thread that brings depth and sophistication to the texture. Choose from 18 warm and cool colors that run from Lanai sandy taupe to Banana Leaf green to Pacific deep water blue. Waimea’s natural good looks are also eco-friendly. Made with Second-Look^® recycled technology, Waimea is standard with 20% recycled content.
